After an agreement between the two provinces, Munster will now host Leinster at Thomond Park on 2 April, while Leinster will have home advantage between the sides at the Aviva Stadium on the final weekend of the regular season. However, with an Ed Sheeran concert taking place at the Limerick venue on 5 May, it was deemed the pitch at Thomond Park would not be fit for purpose within two weeks, leading to the provinces to agree to a swap. Their clash at Thomond Park will now kick off at 7pm on Saturday 2 April (live on RTE2), the weekend before their Heineken Champions Cup last 16 first legs.
